About Our Design
At Revacco, we design our blast cooling systems with one clear purpose: to freeze products quickly, safely, and reliably. In industries where time and hygiene are critical — such as meat processing, seafood, bakeries, and cold storage — our systems ensure that product quality is preserved from the very first moment of cooling.
We build our blast units around double‑stage semi‑hermetic compressors from trusted partners like Frascold, Bitzer, and Dorin. This technology allows us to reach evaporating temperatures down to –40 °C while maintaining stable condensing conditions at +40 °C, guaranteeing rapid pull‑down even in tropical climates where ambient temperatures can rise to +55 °C.
Every detail of our design is focused on durability and efficiency. Airflow rates between 5,000 and 20,000 m³/h are delivered by EBM‑Papst and Rosenberg fans, ensuring uniform cooling across the chamber. Our housings are manufactured from galvanized steel with powder coating, with aluminium options available for enhanced corrosion resistance. To protect sensitive electronics, we use Schneider Electric double‑door panels, resistant to moisture and dust, and integrate Eliwell or AKO digital controllers for precise monitoring, alarms, and defrost management.
We also recognize the importance of sustainability. That's why our blast systems are compatible with a wide range of refrigerants — from traditional choices like R404A and R507 to modern low‑GWP blends such as R448A, R449A, and R452A, as well as natural refrigerants like R134a and R290. This flexibility ensures compliance with evolving environmental regulations without compromising performance.
