About Our Design

The TEA and TEB Series evaporators are engineered to provide reliable performance across a wide range of cold storage applications, from compact chill rooms to larger freezer installations. All performance data is calculated in accordance with Eurovent EN 328 standards, ensuring accuracy and consistency under internationally recognized testing conditions.

The TEA Series uses a 40 × 35 mm coil geometry with 1/2" copper tubes and aluminium fins, available in fin pitches from 4 mm to 10 mm. This flexibility allows the TEA family to adapt to both chilling and freezing environments, balancing airflow and frost management. Fan diameters range from 300 to 630 mm, with configurations from single‑fan compact units to six‑fan systems. Cooling capacities extend from ~3.5 kW in small chill applications up to 85 kW in deep‑freeze conditions, making TEA evaporators a versatile choice for medium to large cold rooms and industrial storage.

The TEB Series is designed with a more compact 32 × 28 mm coil geometry and 3/8" copper tubes, optimized for efficiency in smaller spaces. Fin pitches of 4 mm and 6 mm provide close spacing for precise temperature control in chill and freezer applications. Fan diameters range from 300 to 500 mm, with configurations up to three fans. Despite its compact design, the TEB Series achieves cooling capacities up to 37 kW, supported by coil surfaces as large as ~101 m². This makes TEB evaporators ideal for installations where space is limited but performance demands remain high.

Both series feature defrost systems tailored to operating conditions: air defrost for positive‑temperature chill applications, and electric heaters in coil and tray with hot gas options for freezer environments. Tube volumes range from ~1 dm³ in the smallest models to ~16 dm³ in larger units, ensuring proper refrigerant charge management. Standardized inlet/outlet connections from 1/2" to 2 1/8" provide compatibility across diverse system designs. Housing is constructed from galvanized steel with powder coating, with aluminium options available for enhanced corrosion resistance.
